Tiwa Savage dedicates forthcoming music video to protesters


Tiwa Savage is set to release a music video for one of her songs, “Ole” which is part of her recent album, “Celia”.

The song which features Naira Marley see Tiwa Savage talking about corruption and greed.

She dropped a snippet of the music video which shows politicians being held and bound.

The beginning of the video reads;

“This is dedicated to every single life lost to injustice in Nigeria. A Change is coming… #wearetired”

In a post she made, she revealed that the video would be released on Friday, 30th of October.

She wrote;

“An artist’s duty is to reflect the times. And at this crucial time in our lives everyday is a matter of survival – Nina Simone It’s time to reclaim Nigeria back, we shall not only continue from where our parents left off but we shall win. Ole ft Naira Marley THIS FRIDAY”

“Ole” is the yoruba word for thief.
