Chelsea Ready To Sell Nigerian Striker Tammy Abraham For £40m To Fund Erling Haaland Transfer

According to reports, Chelsea are ready to sell academy product Tammy Abraham for £ 40million as coach Thomas Tuchel wants to fund a hit move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

According to a new report from The Telegraph, Haaland tops Tuchel’s shopping list this summer, although the 20-year-old could drop to £ 100m after scoring 53 goals in 56 games.

Chelsea, who already have an overpaid squad, need to clear their salary budget, reach an agreement on the matter, and could sacrifice 23-year-old Tammy Abraham for £40m.

West Ham are interested in the natives of Delta, who have represented Nigeria for England.

Abraham has scored 30 goals in 81 games for the Blues, but Tuchel has fallen out of the punk order since replacing Frank Lampard in January.

Chelsea also want to sell Olivier Giroud, who fought for his gametime under Tuchel.

Giroud will leave West London on a free transfer after completing three-and-a-half years at the club, only to be signed by Chelsea.

The performances of Abraham and Giroud are worth £ 200,000 a week, which he could use to pay Holland.
