Auchi Poly lecturer found dead in his office
Dr. Shola Eshiobo, dean for student affairs, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo, was found dead in his room.
The lecture lifeless body was found in his office on Sunday morning, April 18th.
A family source who confirmed the incident to the Tribune said the deceased’s wife raised the alarm after he did not return home from the office on Saturday.
“He was going to the office on Saturday afternoon, the 17th, to attend some formal work. Usually he goes to the office when he has a lot of work on his hands. began to call his phone number, but no call was made and the call was not returned. He tried until the evening, has not yet answered, ”the source explained.
“Early on Sunday morning, she picked up the alarm and told people around her that her husband had gone to the office on Saturday but had not returned. They went to the office, saw his car in the parking lot, but when they arrived at his office they saw him dead.
The source added that although no bad game was suspected, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
“The body has been placed in the morgue. Although we are not suspected of any bad game, an autopsy will be conducted for now,” he added.
Mr. Mustafa Oshiobugie, Auchi Polytechnic’s public relations officer, described the incident as unfortunate.
“We heard about the incident. The body was taken to the morgue. An official statement will be issued on Monday, ”he said.
