Coutinho To Remain At Bayern Munich For Two Months

Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement to extend Philippe Coutinho’s stay in Bavaria.

Coutinho, Alvaro Odriozola and Ivan Perisic were due to leave the club on June 30.

Bild, however, are reporting that the three have agreed to stay on for two more months until the end of the season and have agreed to halve their salaries during the extension.

Bayern have already won the Bundesliga, but they are now hoping to add the Champions League in August.

Coutinho has played 30 times for Bayern this season, scoring nine goals.

Bayern won’t be activating their 120 million euro purchase option though, meaning Barcelona will be looking to find a new club for the Brazilian this summer.
