MercyMe is an American contemporary Christian music group founded in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist Bart Millard, percussionist Robby Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul.
MercyMe’s music is predominantly pop and rock with a message of faith, hope and love. The band has released six studio albums and charted five singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. In 2013, MercyMe toured with Hillsong United and Matthew West.
