Wolves Interested In Zaidu Sanusi

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to make a move for Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi this summer.

Sanusi, 23, made a big impression in his debut campaign with Porto after joining another Portuguese club, Santa Clara, last summer.

The Nigerian has scored once in all 10 of Porto’s UEFA Champions League games this season.

The left-back has also become a permanent member of his national team and could feature in his first international tournament in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations final in Cameroon.

According to several reports, the Wolves are in a weakening market this summer, after a relatively slow campaign as they are 12th in the Premier League table with six games left.

The club currently have strong trade ties with Porto, with teenage striker Fabio Silva spending a record £ 35million for the club last September, bringing in Ruben Neves and Willie Boly in the last few years. came
